Veritas PM-V11 Bench Chisels

I've been paring mortises all week and the edge on these is still slicing end grain cleanly, which I never got more than a day out of with my old A2 set. The steel really does hold up about twice as long between sharpening sessions.

The torrefied maple handles feel warm and grippy compared to the plastic ones I've used for years. I've been chopping mortises in white oak all week and only touched up the edge once.

The PM-V11 edge really does hold up about twice as long as the A2 chisels I used for years, so I'm sharpening way less often. Torrefied maple handles feel solid in the hand without being slick. Worth the money.
