Bought these for cutting hinge mortises on a batch of cabinet doors and they've been spot on. All four sizes hold an edge well, and the backs were flat enough that I barely touched them on the stone. Clean cuts every time.

The edges came honed flat and true right out of the box, which saved me a solid hour of setup on my last cabinet build. Mortising for brass hinges felt almost effortless, and the bevels registered cleanly against the knuckle every time.

The set covers the four widths I actually need for door hinges, and the edges came sharp enough to pair cleanly with my router jig. Mortises in oak came out square with almost no cleanup.
