Bought these mainly for piping dots and pearl borders on sugar cookies, and the rounded ball shape gives such a clean, uniform finish. The tips feel sturdy in the coupler too, no wobbling mid-pipe.

I used the ball tip for the first time on a batch of cupcakes and the domes came out perfectly smooth with no ridges. The opening is just the right size for piping dots and pearl borders evenly. Way easier than the star tips I usually reach for.

The rounded opening on these makes cleaner dots than my old star tips ever did, and they don't snag on buttercream. Used them for the border on a birthday cake last weekend and the pearls came out perfectly even.
