I bought these mainly for glue-ups on small woodworking projects and the 10" size is perfect for holding clamped joints tight. The rubber has enough stretch that it doesn't dig into the wood, and I like that the pack comes in three sizes so I'm not stuck with a dozen of one. Zero slipping so far.
These 3/4" wide bands grip way better than the thin ones I had before — no slipping even on smooth plastic clamps. The 7, 10, and 12 inch mix covers everything from small glue-ups to holding a trash bag on the can. Four of each size in one pack is a solid deal.
The 3/4" width really does grip smooth plastic without sliding, which is why I switched to these for holding trim while caulk dries. Only gripe is the 12" ones feel a bit stiff until they've stretched a few times.
