The walnut handle sits comfortably in my palm even after an hour of paring dovetails, which surprised me for a hand tool at this price. The steel holds an edge through oak without needing a touch-up on the stone.

Took it straight from the box to a walnut edge and the control you get in tight corners is exactly what I needed for cabinet work. The heft feels reassuring without being tiring, and it's held up fine through a full afternoon of joinery.

I’ve had it about three weeks now and it’s already become my go-to for trimming joints. The robust build takes a bit of pressure without flexing, which makes those tight curves surprisingly clean.
