The flexible cushioning layer really does the job on curved panels—my sander glides over contours without leaving flat spots. Cut them to fit my 3" × 4" pad in seconds.
I’ve been using these interface strips on a curved car panel and the flexible cushioning genuinely makes the sander glide over the contours instead of digging in at the edges. They fit my 3" × 4" backing pad perfectly and hold up through several jobs, so I’m grabbing another pack for sure.
The cushioning layer really helps the paper follow contours without digging in, especially on rounded door edges. I've gone through a full set of these and they hold up well, no tearing at the grooves.
