Applied it to a walnut tabletop and the rich, deep black came out perfectly even in one pass, with the grain still visible underneath. It dried to a smooth, matte finish that feels solid, not sticky. Exactly the look I was after for a dark, modern piece.

The grain practically glows through this deep black finish—it’s like the wood went from plain to piano-black in two coats. Dried to a tough, matte surface that doesn’t feel waxy at all. Exactly the rich, natural look I was after for my oak shelves.

The grain really pops through the finish, almost like the wood got darker and richer instead of just painted over. I did two coats and the color is a proper, deep black that doesn't look flat or plastic.
