Took it out for a quick pass on a pine shelf, and the wooden body really does sit comfortably in hand—no slipping even after a few minutes of work. The chamfer came out clean and consistent, which is exactly what I needed for a kitchen cabinet edge.

The wooden body sits so comfortably in my hand that I actually look forward to trimming edges now. Clean, crisp chamfers on the first pass along my oak shelf—no chatter, just a smooth glide.

Took a bit to get the hang of the angle, but once I did, it shaved off perfect, even chamfers without any splintering. The traditional wooden body gives it a nice, solid heft that makes it feel much more controlled than my metal one.
