Óleo de cera dura Osmo Polyx fosco

The matte finish is exactly what I wanted for my walnut shelves—it kept the grain looking natural instead of plasticky. I did two coats and the surface feels tough, not waxy, which is more protection than I expected from an oil.

Applied it to my oak tabletop and the grain pops beautifully without that plasticky sheen you get from varnish. It dried to the touch within a few hours, and after a week of daily use, it’s still holding up with zero water rings.

The matte finish came out exactly as pictured, and the wood grain looks almost richer than before. It dried to a nice hard, touch-dry surface in a day, and I can finally put my table back in use without worrying about scratches. This is the first finish I've used that doesn't feel plasticky.
