Plaina de Desbaste E.C. Emmerich

Took a stubborn oak slab down to shape in a fraction of the time my old planes managed, and the blade stayed locked tight through the whole session. The heft feels right in hand, solid enough that it does the work without me leaning on it.

Bought this for rough shaping a walnut slab, and the blade’s heft and rigidity handled the grain without any chatter. It’s noticeably faster than my old bench plane at hogging off material, and the sole feels solid enough for years of abuse.

I've been flattening some rough oak boards and this thing just plows through the grain without bogging down, the wide mouth really clears the shavings fast. It’s already my go-to for hogging off material before the smoother comes out.
