Red Oak Fleece-Backed Edge Banding

The fleece backing really does the heavy lifting here—it curved around my rounded shelf edges without lifting or bubbling, and the red oak grain looks convincingly natural next to the plywood. Stayed put while I trimmed it, no slipping mid-cut.

Edge banding is usually a pain to get around curved corners, but the fleece backing on this red oak strip really held the curve without any lifting. The wood grain looks convincingly natural against my cabinet faces, so the seams are nearly invisible after trimming.

The fleece backing made all the difference on the curved cabinet door—it actually hugged the contour without lifting. The red oak grain pattern blends right in with the rest of the trim, and it stayed put while I applied pressure.
