Starrett pinvisebanken

The grip is rock solid even with the tiniest drill bits, and the knurled body gives you real control without slipping. I've been reaching for it all week for small jewelry repairs and it hasn't let me down once.

Used one for the first time today while setting a tiny watch part, and the grip held it steady through every twist without slipping. The sturdy construction gives real confidence when you're working with something that small. Nice to finally have a tool that doesn't fight you.

These pin vises have been on my bench for two weeks now, and the grip on 0.5mm drill bits hasn't slipped once. The knurled body gives a surprisingly positive feel even with oily fingers, making delicate filing work much less stressful.
