I was worried about chatter on my drill press, but the single-flute design kept the cut really smooth through a batch of aluminum brackets. The 82° tip leaves a clean chamfer that sits flush with my flat-head screws.
Cut through mild steel like butter with barely any chatter, which surprised me for the price. The single flute clears chips so well I didn't have to back out mid-hole once. Chamfers came out clean and even on all 12 holes I did today.
The 82° angle is spot on for my countersunk screws, and the single flute does cut smoother than the four-flute bits I used before. Only issue is it dulled faster than I'd like after a couple dozen holes in mild steel.
