I’ve been using these on my bench plane for a couple weeks now, and the A2 steel took an edge that held up through some gnarly figured maple without a hint of tear-out. The chip breaker mates to the blade cleanly, too—no fiddling to get the gap set right. Definitely worth the upgrade over the stock
