I've been burned by edge banding that peels off after a week, but this one's still stuck fast after a month of shop use. The white oak grain is convincing enough that guests can't tell my shelves aren't solid wood. Heat gun application took me about ten minutes per shelf, no regrets.
The pre-glued backing made this honestly the easiest edge banding I've used—just ironed it on and it stuck firm with no bubbling. The white oak grain matches my plywood perfectly, so the finished edge looks seamless.
I was dreading the edge banding step on my plywood shelves, but the pre-glued backing made it a genuinely quick job with just a household iron. The white oak grain looks natural enough that guests can't tell it's not solid wood, and the 13/16" width covered my boards perfectly.
