Cera all'olio di lino Allbäck, bianca

I used this on a raw pine shelf and the linseed oil wax left a soft, pale finish that still shows the grain instead of hiding it. It takes a bit of buffing to get it even, but the result is exactly the subtle white look I wanted.

The white tint goes on evenly and dries to that soft, milky tone I was hoping for on a pine shelf. It took a couple of coats to get the coverage right, but the finish feels smooth and lets the grain show through nicely.

I’ve been using it on a small oak stool and the subtle white tone really brightens the grain without hiding it. It buffs out to a soft sheen that feels nice to the touch, and a little goes a long way for a small project like mine.
