Peinture à l'huile de lin Allbäck, gris graphite

The linseed oil finish soaked into the old oak beams instead of sitting on top like a film, which is exactly what I wanted for a breathable coat. Graphite gray came out deeper and richer than the swatch suggested, and it's holding up fine after a month of weather.

Took a weekend to repaint the garden shed and the coverage was impressive — one coat soaked into the old wood beautifully. The linseed oil base gives it that soft, matte look I wanted, and the graphite tone shifts almost blue in the evening light. Feels like it’ll hold up for years without peeling.

I’ve been brushing this onto my window frames and the depth of the graphite gray is exactly what I hoped for—rich without being flat. Even after a few rainy weeks, the wood still looks freshly painted with that classic linseed oil sheen.
