The cord arrived ready to weave, no soaking or prep needed, which saved me a whole evening on my first stool project. It has that classic natural fiber look and feels sturdy enough to handle daily use.

Re-caned my grandfather's oak chair with this and the cord takes tension beautifully without fraying. It's dry and ready to weave right out of the bundle, no soaking needed. Seat feels solid and should hold up for years.

I used this to reweave a mid-century chair seat and it holds tension nicely once you get the weave tight. Took a star off because a few strands had rough spots I had to trim, but overall the natural fiber looks great and feels sturdy.
