I’ve been using it on a set of outdoor chairs for three weeks now, and the rich brick red hasn’t faded a bit under the sun. The earthy tone deepens as it cures, giving the wood a warmth that plain stains just can’t match.

The oil-based formula goes on smooth and soaks into the wood nicely, leaving a rich brick red that really warms up the grain. I’ve used it on a few outdoor pieces and the color hasn’t faded or peeled after a couple months of rain.

The color is exactly the deep, earthy brick red I was hoping for, and it’s brought so much warmth to my garden bench. I’ve only applied two coats so far, but the traditional oil base feels like it’s really soaking into the wood for lasting protection.
