Walrus Oil Axtöl

My hickory handle was looking gray and dried out after a season of splitting, but two coats of this brought the grain right back to life. It soaks in fast and doesn't leave that greasy film some oils do. The wood feels smoother and has held up fine through a few rainy weekends.

The rag I used to wipe the excess off my maul handle came away dark with grime, but the hickory underneath looked almost new again. Glad it's formulated for tools instead of just furniture.

Put a coat on my granddad's old splitting maul handle and the grain just came alive again. It soaked in overnight without feeling greasy, and the hickory has a nice grip now instead of that dry, splintery feel.
