Eichenfurnier rot, 1/16 Zoll

The 1/16-inch thickness is perfect for wrapping the curved edge of my shelf without any bubbling or cracking. The grain matched so well I barely needed to sand it.

Cut a piece for a cabinet door panel this weekend and the thin profile pressed down flat without any bubbling at the edges. The red oak grain really pops once you sand it lightly, and it took the finish evenly.

The grain pattern on this 1/16-inch oak is beautifully consistent across the whole batch, which made matching edges to panels almost effortless. It’s thin but surprisingly sturdy, and it laid flat without any curling when I applied it to the substrate.
