Rostschutzmittel

I wiped this on the cast iron top of my table saw and three weeks later there's still no orange tint anywhere, even in the humid garage. A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last me a couple seasons.

My old chisels kept developing those orange specks no matter how much I wiped them down, so I gave this a shot on my whole drawer. Three months in and not a single new spot has appeared, even on the plane blade I forgot to reapply after using it. The coating dries clear and doesn’t leave that greasy

Applied it to my workbench vise and a few chisels before storing them for the season, and not a speck of rust has shown up even in my damp garage. The coating dries clear and doesn't leave that greasy film I was worried about, so I can grab tools without wiping them down first.
