Ahornfurnier 1/16 tomme

I was worried 1/16 inch would be too stiff to bend around the curves on my little jewelry box, but it wrapped nicely without cracking. The maple grain is clean and takes stain evenly. Ordering more for a cabinet project.

This veneer is 1/16 inch thick, which gives it just enough body to wrap around corners without cracking. I used it for a jewelry box lid and the natural maple grain added a clean, warm look that needed zero sanding before glue-up.

I’d been hunting for a veneer that wouldn’t crack when I bent it around a curved drawer front, and this 1/16-inch sheet was flexible enough to cooperate. The natural maple face is clean and even, so it took stain without blotching. Definitely ordering another for the next project.
