E.C. Emmerich Tradiční dřevěný rabětovací hoblík

The precision-ground blade took a whisper-thin shaving off oak right out of the box, and the balance feels so natural I forgot I was holding a tool. It’s my new favorite for cleaning up tenons.

First time using a wooden-bodied plane and the precision-ground blade cut through oak like butter, no chatter at all. The comfortable grip makes long sessions actually enjoyable, and it holds its adjustment better than my old metal one.

The wooden body warms up in your hand nicely, and the precision-ground blade took a crisp shaving off a stubborn oak edge right out of the box. It's a solid, traditional tool that feels like it was made to be used, not just displayed.
