Mirka Soft Adapter for DEROS/PROS

Was a bit skeptical about adding another piece to my setup, but the soft backing pad gives a noticeably smoother finish on curved surfaces. It clicks into place easily and hasn’t come loose once during a full day of sanding. Exactly what I needed for the detail work on my last project.

The soft backing pad snaps on solidly with zero wobble, so the sander feels more controlled on curved panels. I’ve used it on a few jobs now and it’s held up fine, no loosening mid-work.

Took a chance on this after struggling with a too-rigid pad, and the soft backing finally lets the sander glide over curved panels without digging in. The quick-change mechanism is straightforward, no wrestling with tools. Honestly, it’s made a tedious part of the job feel almost effortless.
